Banksys technology increases security of BASE24 users |

DEP HOST SECURITY MODULE COMPATIBLE WITH ACI BASE24 TRANSACTION SOFTWARE
|
Brussels, 7 November 2005 – ACI, one of the world’s primary producers of transactional software, has agreed to make its BASE24 solution compatible with the Banksys DEP host security module. The move means that the large number of BASE24 customers can now increase the security of their transactions by opting for the class-leading DEP technology. Existing DEP customers may also select BASE24 whilst maintaining the benefits of their existing DEP security infrastructure.

BASE24 is an integrated software solution for the acquisition, authentication, routing, and authorization of financial transactions. The system supports a wide variety of payment methods, including debit and credit card payments, branch banking, telephone banking, Internet banking, and mobile commerce. The solution is open to a broad range of computing environments, allowing customers to run the best-of-breed software of their choice. BASE24 will be configured to accommodate the Banksys DEP, the worldwide reference in host security modules.

Increased market potential for the DEP technology
