Securing your mission critical applications |
Encryption is now a fundamental component of many business-critical processes, making the protection of all cryptographic keys absolutely essential. Banksys’ Data Encryption Peripheral (DEP) is a range of Hardware Security Modules (HSM) that fully meet the needs of both traditional banking applications and emerging markets such as e-commerce, m-commerce, e-banking, and pay TV access control. A hardware security module (HSM) provides cryptographic processing capabilities and is an essential element of IT security. |

When Banksys set up its original acquisition system in the late seventies, it built the first of several generations of HSM’s. Now, more than 26 years later, Banksys continues to develop and refine the most innovative HSM’s available anywhere. The current range meets most international standards, is Common Criteria EAL3+ certified and meets the requirements for FIPS 140-2 level 4.. Certification for Common Criteria EAL4+ has already started. Banksys’ DEP range is fully EMV compliant. |

When vision becomes innovation… |

Banksys provides three types of HSM products:
- A PCI cryptographic board (DEP/PCI), which can be installed in any server
or PC (32 or 64 bit interface). - A DEP platform, which can be attached to a network and in which
the DEP/PCI cards (1 up to 4) can be installed. A powerful graphical user interface has been installed. - A new state-of-the-art, reliable server peripheral (DEP/T6) featuring two DEP/PCI cards for continuous operation. Remote management facilities on board.
