Banksys products - in compliance with the EMV standard
The EMV standard has become the worldwide norm for fighting card fraud since 1 January 2005. Banksys offers a wide range of EMV solutions, from fully compliant payment terminals to hardware security modules.

As the Belgian network operator, Banksys is implementing EMV at every level of its end-to-end system, including hosts, card issuing and terminals. This in-depth experience has given us a unique perspective on the development of products and solutions that meet EMV requirements.

  • The Banksys range of XENTISSIMO, XENTA, C-ZAM/SMASH and C-ZAM/SPIN payment terminals are all fully EMV-compliant
  • The C-ZAM/SMASH and the C-ZAM/SPIN terminals were among the first in the world to be EMV-compliant 
  • The Banksys range of DEP hardware security modules fully supports EMV requirements 
  • Banksys initiated its own EMV migration programme several years ago
