DEP/NMS

Managing a pool of DEP hardware security modules is easy with the DEP Network Management System (NMS). The DEP/NMS enables remote management, configuration, and monitoring of any number of DEP platforms and cryptographic modules.

Reduce operating costs

The DEP/NMS continuously monitors all DEP operations. It sends alerts to the operator if problems arise, and generates statistical reports to track the frequency of use of the DEP modules.
Security officers are no longer sent into the field to perform these operations. This results in significant savings in time, money and resources.

Secure remote management*

DEP/NMS comes as a software program for use on PCs equipped with a standard operating system. The system relies on reinforced security measures to make it fraud-proof:

  • A strongly authenticated secure link between the C-ZAM/DEP used in remote mode and each DEP hardware security module for remote management of security keys
  • The communication between DEP/NMS and the DEP devices, based on a proprietary protocol, provides additional security between the remote system and the modules.
