The C-ZAM/I and C-ZAM/V terminals have been developed for low-value payments via electronic purse systems. These payments don’t require the cardholder to enter a PIN-code.
Countertop e-purse payment
Easy to use for customers and merchants, the C-ZAM/I also comes in a portable, battery-operated version with charger.
Connection to the payment network is only made when transferring from the C-ZAM/I terminal to the shop's bank account. C-ZAM/I can also handle loyalty or health cards with chips.
Integrated e-purse payment
C-ZAM/V is a terminal specially designed for use of e-purse cards in any sort of vending machines: drinks machines, parking meters, phone boxes, launderette washing machines etc. It allows for fast, easy and secure payments, and for consultation of the balance on the purse chip.
The e-purse balance can be transferred to a bank account:
- Directly, via phone (analogue or GSM)
- Manually, via a memory card and terminal, laptop, PDA or PC
- Via ISDN (for larger groups of vending machines)
