A number of accessories and optional interface boards can enhance the XENTA’s integration in your specific retail environment.

XENTA accessories

Contactless reader: Faster payments, more impulse purchases
PoweredUSB cable: Single cable for both power and communication in the retail environment
Printer: Thermal graphic printer with easy paper load mechanism
Merchant unit: Merchant Unit with integrated printer for small retail environments
Swivel Plate: For use as stand-alone device
Fixation Plate: Affix the terminal to the counter
Standard colours: Two standard colours to choose from, customisable to order

XENTA communication options

Select your preferred connectivity with the transaction host:

GSM/GPRS board:
- Quad-band interface board with external or internal antenna
  GSM or GPRS for billing per second or per kilobyte of information
  Data transfer from terminal to host is secured using SSL (Secure Socket Layer)
  SMS capability (up to 160 char)
  Dedicated SIM slot accessible through the bottom cover
Wireless LAN (WiFi) board
- Conforms with IEEE 802.11b standard
  Two antennas, integrated in the terminal to achieve an optimal range (up to 100 m)
  Data transfer from terminal to host is secured using SSL (Secure Socket Layer)
  Transfers transaction details to an Access Point (not included)
  From the Access Point onward, host communication is set up via an integrated or separate modem (e.g. cable TV or xDSL)
ISDN board
- Circuit-switched telephone network system
  Digital transmission of data over ordinary telephone copper wires
  Better quality, higher speed than analogue lines
  TCP/IP protocol (PPP) over B-channel or X.25 protocol over B- and D-channel
